In 2011 the Solstickan Foundation celebrated 75 years and of course we want to pay attention to this with an exhibition about the famous match box.
Solstickan 75 years is focusing on both the artist Einar Nerman (1888-1983) who created the classic match box layout, and on the charity for children and the elderly since the birth of Solstickan in 1936.
In two showrooms you can look at the original Solstickan artwork and other pieces by Nerman, and photographs from the Foundation's summer camps for children. The exhibition texts also highlight the background and history of Solstickan.
The exhibition Solstickan 75 years will be up and running until 2 March 2012.
